Wow! I don't know where the time goes. I've been busy ever since the Montana show, but not with commissions. I'm hoping some will come in soon, but in the meantime, I'm taking advantage of the lull and working on my own illustrations.
I'm also getting out to ride my horses a bit more often now that the weather in improving. On the weekend, we ride the trails and, at least once during the week, we have a session in my friend's arena. All good stuff.
I finished two new pieces for the Studio Tour and another illustration for my upcoming book, working title Aftershock. I already have two more ideas for illustrations rattling around in my head, and another for my western collection.
Plenty to do without commissions, but no money coming in. Arrgg! Heaven forbid, I might have to go out and get a real job!
But wait! We're heading down to Tucson soon for the Western Writers of America convention. So looking forward to this. I'm hoping to meet some interesting people and bring home a wealth of knowledge.
