Corona Virus

As I am sure most of you are aware, the Corona Virus has put a crimp into the events that were planned for this spring and, perhaps, the summer, too. Not just are all the art shows cancelled, but so many other activities that we enjoy as the weather improves.
Our wonderful Camano Island  Studio Tour is no exception.   Everyone stand down.
On the bright side, this gives me an opportunity to have a real kick-ass show next year!

Also, for those of you who are local, the amazing Women's Expo has not been cancelled for the year, but postponed until the all clear is given. I hope this is not going to take all summer.

In another way, the timing as worked out for me. On March 8th, I had a hard all off my horse. I fractured four ribs, a finger and the ball of my hip. Fortunately none of the fractures required a hospital stay, but I have still been laid up for the last seven weeks. All my intentions of creating artwork for the tour came to a screeching halt, as well as my progress on Book Two of The Navarre Link Chronicles. I'm planning on having the book available both here and on Amazon before summer., as long as nothing else happens. Knock wood.

I'm hopeful of being back in my studio by May and I'll get busy drawing and pasteling again. I have so many ideas bouncing around in my head, but no energy to get after it. I'm sure this too will pass.

I hope all of you are staying safe, respecting the isolation recommendations, and not getting too bored.
Take care and be safe.
