recovery

I went in for hip replacement surgery last Tuesday, and it went very well. 
Recovery is also doing well. The exercises are getting easier and improving each time. I'm also off the narcotics and just using Tylenol for pain management.  Even at that, the pain isn't bad. This is easy compared to what my husband went through with his knee replacement, and what I went through with the rib fractures and consequent  hematoma. 
The main thing now is to keep moving and ward off any infection. 
It's still going to be two months before I can drive. 
I'm hoping I'll be able to continue with my writing soon. I certainly have the time right now, just not the focus. It'll come.
