Update

Two and a half weeks since my surgery, and things are healing up nicely.
The stitches came out a couple of days ago, and I'm walking around the house just fine, except one leg is longer than the other. This will be rectified with the second surgery. The doctor is getting the paperwork, etc., in order for that so we can set the date. It'll likely happen late summer.
I should be able to start driving again next week, which will be nice. I still need help at the barn though, as I don't feel confident enough yet to get Monty out of the pasture. The last thing I need now is to turn an ankle or have a fall. 
​All is going well, and everyone is pleased with my progress.
